Deep Democracy Exchange is owned and operated by the Deep Democracy Institute, which is an international think tank headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
We hold the vision that the worldwide development of leadership - including a diverse array of cultures and disciplines - is one of the key elements for sustainable local and global development. Our mission is to teach and apply the skills and attitudes that are required for one such culture of leadership: Deep Democracy. Deep Democracy is a new and cutting edge paradigm that emphasizes the dynamic interplay between individual and collective transformation. Arnold Mindell, the originator of Deep Democracy, describes it as a profound sense that "the world is here to help us become our entire selves, and that we are here to help the world become whole" (Arnold Mindell, founder of Process Oriented Psychology).
If you would like to learn more about the Deep Democracy Institute, visit our website or check us out on Facebook, Youtube or Vimeo. We are an international think tank, training institute, and consulting group that focuses on Deep Democracy, Process Work and Worldwork. Although our training programs encompass the entire breadth of the Process Work paradigm, we specialize in applying Worldwork in leadership and organizational development. As part of that specialization, we conduct worldwide Open Forums of public interest, publish books, and are in the process of launching a journal on conflict resolution and collaboration.
The Deep Democracy Institute serves and coaches individual leaders and organizational clients in a variety of locations and contexts. We consult government groups, train parliament groups, and work with all types of organizations, from international Fortune 100 companies to mid-size national companies and local startups. We have programs in North America, Western Europe, East Africa, Russia, Palestine, Kazakhstan, the Ukraine, and Ecuador.
